  • Special order color for Alpina
  • One M70 850iA was applied in this color for an Alpina B12 5.0 (nbr 27 - D110027)
  • It was regrettable that the only 8er in this color was repainted to Diamond Black Metallic (code 181) by a subsequent owner of this special Alpina B12 5.0. As of June 2008 it is reported to be in bad condition.
  • Good news!  01/2012: this rare 8er was purchased and restored to it original Alpina/BMW color in 2011.  As of 08/2012 it remains for sale at a specialty used BMW classic car dealer.  Pictures are from the reborn Alpina B12.
