    • Identified 93 of the 97 BMW/Alpina build sheets
    • Matched 37 B12 5.0's with a BMW build sheet
    • Identified 56 B12 5.0's with the BMW Alpina Build Number (1 through 97)
  • B12 5.7 - 89.5% of the BMW/Alpina build sheets are matched to an Alpina B12 5.7:
    • Identified 55 of the 57 BMW/Alpina build sheets
    • Matched 51 B12 5.7's with a BMW build sheet
    • Identified 57 B12 5.7's with the Alpina Build Number (1 through 57) - Completed
  • M73 850CiA - An urban legend is circulating that the last 12 1999 M73 850CiA's built were directed to the Middle East as special Alpina versions.  This is not true.
    • The last 12 cars began with chassis CC41885, built 28-April-1999 for the Middle East and ended 11 cars later with chassis CC41896, built 11-May-1999 for the Germany market.
    • Of these last 12, 7 went to the Middle East, of which 6 were Platinum editions (not Alpina-based); 4 went to Germany, and 1 went to the Netherlands.
    • However, there were Alpina-based M73 850CiA's built for the Middle East, but Alpina denies their existence.  Several of these cars are now identified and validated.
